On the morning of 9 September 2026, PPCIL organized an Awareness Raising and Advocacy Workshop on Incorporating Disability Inclusion into Commune Investment Plans.

The workshop was presided over by Ms. Kea Kim Yi, Deputy Director of Administration of Pou Senchey district, representing Mr. Sak Chan Kanharith, Governor of Pou Senchey district. It was attended by district and commune authorities, along with relevant stakeholders from the target areas of the ISCP Project. A total of 25 participants joined the workshop, which was held at the Pou Senchey district Hall.

Objectives

1. To raise awareness and increase understanding of disability and independent living for persons with disabilities in community, while promoting the incorporating of disability inclusion into commune development plans.

2. To share good practices and successful experiences in implementing disability inclusion from Ponsang Commune.

3. To strengthen collaboration between PPCIL, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
